“What lies beneath our feet” inaugural class

I have just returned from an incredible teaching experience at Touchstone Center for Crafts in Farmington PA. What Lies Beneath Our Feet: Hunting and Gathering for Native Stone was a great success on many levels. My intrepid students pushed their boundaries in sourcing stone, cutting stone, and philosophizing about stone! We laughed; we cried; we built relationships. I send out a big thank you to the inaugural class of May 2013. I will never forget our time ‘walking the line’ and am heartened by your hammer-wielding confidence. Check out dates for the next workshop in August. There are still a few spots left. Come join me in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains and discover the secrets of Pennsylvania sandstone.
